Meet The Owners
Colleen Purcell
Growing up in New Milford CT, Colleen started working in a small local nursery when she was just 16 yrs old, by the time she was 21 she owned it. Her passion for plants was helped along by her mother, whose garden was often referred to as ‘the magic garden’. Colleen can most often be found in the Nursery, her home away from home.
Jared Knecht
Jared grew up on a small family farm in Washington CT. As a child he would spend time with his grandmother at her property on Lake Lillinonah, helping with her extensive gardens. His interest in landscaping started there and led him to pursue his degree in Landscape Architecture from The University of Connecticut.
Jose Tacuri
Jose is our Head of Masonry, he inherited his talent and artful eye from his Father, who taught him his trade from an early age. He builds the most beautiful walls and patios but really loves a good challenge. Jose and his lovely wife Leida live in New Milford and have 3 beautiful children
